Although Pallolina as a whole was peaceful, Lafayette found defiant opposition from his teenage son, William. == Summary ==
The state of Pallolina serves as the home of the [[Vinland]] military. Originally founded as the [[13 Colonies|ninth colony]], Pallolina was notable for being ruled by the same familial line from its founding all the way to the creation of United Vinland. Pallolina is located along the [[swirling ocean]] and borders [[Georgina]], [[Tenny]], [[Jullicut]], and [[Regina]]. Both the [[Heartland]] and the [[Almighty]] cross into Pallolina which has allowed it to have a burgeoning agriculture industry in addition to its military specialization. Its leadership consists of the [[Triumvirate]], the three top generals of the Vinland Military.

== Founding and Colonial Era ==
Pallolina Harmen was the ninth former wife of [[Deus Ultima]] to receive a colony in exchange for her separation from the God King. She arrived in Vinland with three demigod children, Bontest the Mighty, Julian Evermore, and Roaring Rorry. Pallolina was a kind, welcoming woman who raised her children under the belief that they should take care of those less fortunate. Following Pallolina Harmen's death, Bontest took over as the Governor of Pallolina, but the actual responsibility for managing Pallolina fell in equal share to each of Pallolina's demigod children.

As centuries passed and the Harmen line turned from demigods toward regular men and women, the family found itself growing and shrinking based on internal and external events before finally coalescing around Governor Limseth Harmen and his wife Parling. Together they had six children, with the youngest [[Lafayette Harmen|Lafayette]], causing Parling to lose her life during his birth. Various tragedies took the lives of five of the six children, with Lafayette being the only surviving child. However, Governor Limseth Harmen died when Lafayette was only fifteen years old, and Lafayette took over duties as the new Governor of Pallolina.

== War of Revolutions ==
Following his son William abandoning Vinland for a place in Deus Ultima's court atop [[Mount Divinus]], and his wife Martha's death, Lafayette formally declared independence on behalf of the colony of Pallolina. Having the love and respect of the Pallolinian citizens, Deus Ultima's forces found an utterly hostile environment in Pallolina and stayed cleared of the state during the [[War of Revolutions]].

Following the surrender of [[Romeo the Rational]], Lafayette returned to an independent Pallolina. Since the [[Vinland Constitution]] was not ratified, Lafayette remained as Governor, but during this time he started the process of turning Pallolina into a military powerhouse as he ordered Castle Harmen into the Decagon, the ten-sided fortress where all of Vinland's military resides. He organized the fighting forces into three distinct groups, offense, defense, and logistics. Each group was headed by a General that allied with Lafayette during the War of Revolutions.

== The Valhalmont Invasion ==
Following [[Valhalmont Invasion|Valhalmont's invasion]] of Regenia and the request for help from Regenia Governor [[Jeremiah Keene]], Lafayette and his troops marched north, defeated the Valhalmont invaders, and upon Valhalmont finally ratifying the Vinland Constitution, United Vinland was officially formed. The various leaders chose Lafayette Harmen to be the first president of United Vinland, and in turn he named the top three generals of the newly official Vinland Military to be the co-leaders of Pallolina and dubbed them the Triumvirate.

== United Vinland ==
Upon the creation of United Vinland and the promotion of the Triumvirate as the leaders of the state, Castle Harmeny, the seat of power for Pallolina, was transformed into the Decagon, the central site for all of United Vinland's military.

The state of Pallolina is unique in that its population consists of many citizens who are also citizens of other states. Owing back to Pallolina Harmen's welcoming nature, any person who is currently serving in the Vinland Military is also considered a Pallolinian citizen. The current Triumvirate is made up of General William Moss leading the offensive forces, General Gus Odinson in charge of defense, and General Link Lancaster overseeing the logistics.

With annual levies growing the state's population each year, Pallolina continues to enjoy a peaceful, manageable growth thanks to the food provided by the Heartland as well as various goods and provisions shipped down the Almighty.

It was during this time he met Martha Allen while he was taking a walk on the shores of the Swirling Ocean outside of Pallolina's capital of Harmeny. She was a painter who loved to paint the sea, and the two soon struck up

This changed when Deus Ultima ordered The Culling, the complete annihilation of all Lyanans. As protests spread around Pallolina about whether the Lyanan slaves should be killed, Lafayette ordered for the state to disobey this commandment as he petitioned Romeo the Rational to rescind his father's commandment. Thanks to Jullicut's preference toward private ownership, Ari Clerks created Clerks and Co., and entered partnerships with many of the fleets within the colony to receive their goods and distribute them within Colonial Vinland while also handling the receiving and outgoing shipping of Colonial Vinland's exports.

He is largely credited for the creation of the Fishing Line, a system of processing imports and exports by assigning a single task to a worker, and having that worker repeatedly perform that task as each good reached them before that good moved to the next worker in the line. There are rumors that his wife at the time, [[Theresa Grills]], was the truly creator of the fishing line, but that rumor has not been confirmed.

While running his business in Jullicut, he was approached by a Jullicutter named [[Art Penn]] who had intentions of starting his own company to create a new product he developed called the Internal Combustion Engine. Seeing the potential of this product, he backed Art Penn's company and gifted him the land for his factories. The land which would one day become [[Camlann]].

== The Grand Colonial Council, the Wine Bath, Imprisonment, and the War of Revolutions ==
Increased duties ordered by [[Deus Ultima]] led to increased tension among many of the sailors who worked until the Clerks and Co. banner. Noticing the various protests occurring in Jullicut as well as in the other colonies, Ari Clerks arranged for important colonists to meet to discuss independence as well as introduce his idea for a master contract to govern the new country, the Vinland Constitution.

The Grand Colonial Council ended without a decision, and upon his return to Jullicut, he was greeted by a rebellion led by one of the captains of his fleet, [[Sam "The Torch" Baharme]]. In an incident known as the [[Wine Bath]], Sam Baharme and other members of his crew threw all of the wine barrels off an outbound ship. Upon his return, he was accused by his wife of aiding and abetting Sam Baharme, and was promptly stripped of his ownership in Clerks and Co and sentenced to Fyorina for punishment. Before he was transferred out of Jullicut, he was also informed that his wife had received a blessing of divorce in exchange for her testimony, and she went on to become an Executive for Camlann.

During the War of Revolutions, Ari Clerks was sent to the dungeons of [[Fyorina]]. He was tortured at the hands of [[Warden Oranje]] until finally being free by [[Lafeyette Harmen|General Harmen's]] attack on Castle DeBaree.

== United Vinland ==
Following the ratification of the Vinland Constitution and the creation of United Vinland, many people nominated Ari Clerks to be the President. He rejected the role in favor of General Harmen who in turn named Ari the Vice President. His main responsibility as the Vice President was the development of [[Liberty's Light]] to serve as the nation's capital, although some people see him choosing that responsibility as a way to compete with his former wife who was the chief designer of Camlann City.

Following the banning of the play, ''Deus Man,'' and the censorship of the [[Archon|Archon's]] articles in ''The Thespian,'' Nathanial chose to protest this censorship by backing out of all of his performances. Nathanial's status combined with the fact he was the first to back out of the performance's led to a cascading effect in Apella as other actors, artists, and musicians quickly canceled their own performances, an event known as Apella's Silence.

After the death of Governor Parch at the hands of the Archon, Nathanial joined the Lafayette Harmen and the Colonial Vinland Military as they marched north to fight Cambria Unchained. Although Nathanial saw very limited fighting, he played a crucial role in calling out General Harmen's orders to the rest of the troops.

Upon the defeat of Cambria Unchained, he continued with the Colonial Vinland Military as they marched on the [[Silversun]]. He stood alongside General Harmen for [[Romeo the Rational|Romeo the Rational's]] surrender, and was the person who announced Colonial Vinland's victory as Romeo cast a sky-high explosion of formal surrender for all of the colonies to see.

== United Vinland ==
Following the war, Nathanial returned to Apella, but cut back on his stage performances. Due to his role outside the stage during the lead-up as well as the actual [[War of Revolutions]], Nathanial did not have it in him to continue to be an actor. Upon [[Valhalmont]] invading [[Regenia]], and General Harmen's request for help to quell the invasion, Nathanial joined in the fight once again where his skills for projection and relaying orders was crucial for victory. Tenny was horse country until Lyle Vanderbilt III had the realization of combining Art Penn’s internal combustion engine on their horse carriages. He saw this as the eventual replacement for the horse and worked with the carriage makers to expand their offering and starting building trains. Tenny was the first to build out the rail lines in their state which led to numerous smaller cities pop up around the state. During Vinland's Colonial Era, Yorn served as the central administrative location that Deus Ultima used to coordinate activities within the colonies. After the War of Revolutions and the creation of United Vinland, Yorn saw many of its administrative responsibilities moved to Vinland's capitol, Liberty's Light. It still provides exchange services for the various state's currencies as well as the arrival location for Antillean immigrants, but in many ways it is a state that is missing a true economic specialization.

Following the prophecy that foretold Vinland's existence, the first Antillean explorers arrived on the coast of Yorn and created the first settlement, Longinus Landing. Within Longinus Landing, the Silversun Castle was erected to serve as the central seat of power for the new land. It wasn't until Deus Ultima's first divorce from Anne Yorn that the colony of Yorn was officially established.

Following Anne Yorn's arrival, she instructed Silversun Castle to be torn down and rebuilt into a true administrative center to serve the colony's needs. She took on the mantle of Governor, a position emulated by the leaders of most of the other colonies.

Following Anne Yorn's death, the responsibility for overseeing Yorn fell to her demigod daughter, Mary the Cursed. Mary was instrumental in establishing Yorn's position as the chief administrative colony for her father, Deus Ultima. Unfortunately for Mary, she was killed by zealots who blamed her for the divorce of Deus Ultima and Anne Yorn.

Due to Mary's policies and the systems she enacted, Yorn continued to fulfill its role as the central colony for Deus Ultima despite not having a Governor. This worked until the brief Battle of the Colonies when Deus Ultima arranged for his three demigod sons to oversee all Vinland activity.

One of his demigod sons, Romeo the Rational, chose the Silversun as his seat of power. It was there he handled the bureaucratic actions for Vinland and served as the main liaison between Vinland and Antilles.

== War of Revolutions ==
Thanks to the steady rule of Romeo the Rational and the support of the Yorn Bureaucrats, Yorn was the only colony that did not rebel during the War of Revolutions. Unfortunately, the bureaucrats did not fight against the rebels. This passivity allowed General Lafayette to march the rebel forces right to the Silversun where Romeo the Rational formally surrendered.

== United Vinland ==
Since the war, Yorn has struggled to find an economic footing. Many bureaucrats moved to the new capital of United Vinland, Liberty's Light. Yorn continues to provide currency exchange services as train stations across the country as well as serves as the central receiving point for Antillean immigrants, but neither of those endeavors has translated to stopping the exodus from what was formally one of the premier colonies. The state has imposed a cap on the profits of any private business as well as its currency exchange services.

It has the nation's preeminent theaters, galleries, and concert halls, and serves as the biggest entertainment hub for [[United Vinland]]. Apella was established as a colony following [[Deus Ultima]]'s sixth divorce to the flamboyant Apella Divine. As someone who loved the theater, Apella Divine established Castle Thespia to serve as a premier location in all of the colonies to see a play.

With each successive generation, specialized stages for various types of performances were added to Castle Thespia. This setup soon created logical issues, but it wasn't until [[Cambria Unchained]] arrived in Apella that the massive renovation occurred which saw Castle Thespia torn down and the five famous theaters of Apella built in its place. The five theaters are the Paramount is for monologues, the Ogden is comedies, the Gothic is dramas, the Black is music, and finally, the Faux is improvisation.

== Rebellion and Apella's Silence ==
The arrival of Cambria Unchained led to both the Apella Governor and the [[Ultima Church]] deferring their power to the demigod. This agreement worked well until the play ''Deus Man,'' a story inspired by [[Martin Keene|Martin Keene's]] ''[[The Natural Order]],'' was set for release. [[Warden Oranje]] ordered the play banned on account of its mockery of Deus Ultima, and upon [[Romeo the Rational|Romeo the Rational's]] agreement overruling Cambria Unchained's objection, the play was banned in Apella.

For the Apellians, this level of censorship was unheard of, and soon after various pamphlets containing the most offensive stories began to appear in Apella. They were authored by a mysterious figure who called themself the Archon, and the pamphlets became a big hit in the colony. Reluctantly, Cambria Unchained clamped down on their distribution, and in return, the Apellians started an event known as [[Apella's Silence]]. They canceled all plays, stopped their touring performances, and altogether shut down Apella's economy through silent inaction.

== War of Revolutions ==
Due to Cambria Unchained and the [[The Blessed|Blessed]] leaving Apella to quell the various violent rebellions in [[Valhalmont]], [[Longa]], [[Ohya]], and [[Tyr]], Apella did not see any active battles during the war. The sole death came from Governor Parch whose body was found on the stage of the Ogden Theater. The Archon took credit for the murder through a confession in Apella's newspaper, The Thespian. In addition to this confession, the Archon claimed leadership for Apella and laid out their vision for how Apella would be ran free from Deus Ultima's rule.

== The State ==
Apella would be a state where everyone could address their issues via the use of the stage. Any infrastructure could be proposed by Thespians, and upon receiving a cost by the Esquires, performances would be held to pay for such state spending. When potential laws had opposing sides, both factions would hold performances, and whoever brought in the highest revenue with a fixed price of entry would see their version of the law established.

Jullicut is a state on the eastern seaboard of [[Vinland]], and is the primary location for all of the country's imports and exports. It also serves as the main supplier of fish and other seafood in Vinland. It has the only female leader of the ten states, [[Jane Baharme|Captain Jane Baharme]].

Jullicut was the [[13 Colonies|5th colony]] established in Vinland. Its name was a fusion of the former wife of [[Deus Ultima]] who was resigned to the colony, Julie Cutty. A lover of the sea, Julie Cutty built her castle on the shores of the [[Swirling Ocean]]. The city of Portsmouth was developed around the castle, and the start of the import and export trade with the [[Antilles|Antillean]] continent soon came to dominate the colony's economic activity.

An early distinguishing characteristic of Jullicut was its prevalence of private ownership. Whereas other colonies barred or heavily restricted ownership of land and business, Jullicut put no restrictions on its citizens. As a result, several large companies eventually came to dominate the economic output of Jullicut, most notably Clerks and Co. which streamlined the import/export process.

Although the colony was formally ruled by Julie Cutty's descendent, Governor Patrick Rogan, his position was more ceremonial as the various ship captains effectively controlled the state's operations.

== Rebellion and Wine Bath ==
Increased import and export duties angered Jullicut's sailors as their share of the profits were decreased. Local protests began in Portsmouth, and although they were peaceful at first, they eventually turned violent due to Romeo the Rational's refusal to relent on the duties. Under the motivation and leadership of [[Sam Baharme|Captain Sam "The Torch" Baharme]], numerous ships and cargo were burned in protest. Seeing the economic toll the protests were having, [[Ari Clerks]] gathered other colonial leaders in [[Pallolina]] to discuss independence from the rule of Deus Ultima. An event known as the [[The Grand Colonial Council|Grand Colonial Council]].

While Clerks was in Pallolina, Captain Sam Baharme held Jullicut's biggest protest which came to be known as the [[The Wine Bath|Wine Bath]]. It was there he and his followers dumped all of the barrels of wine that was set to be shipped to Antilles overboard and into the Swirling Ocean.

The War of Revolutions in Jullicut was primarily fought in two places, the land and the sea. At land in Portsmouth, Sam Baharme and his followers killed anyone even remotely associated with Deus Ultima who was unwilling to switch sides. This led to them destroying Castle Jullicut, killing Governor Rogan, and a handful of [[The Blessed|Blessed]], Deus Ultima's elite forces, to change side and fight under Sam's leadership. Sam ordered for a new ship to be built from the remnents of Castle Jullicut as he, his wife Jane, and the other sea captains left for sea to enact a blockade to prevent any of Deus Ultima's forces from entering Vinland. Upon Deus Ultima's forces arriving of Vinland's coast, a fierce sea battle occurred which saw Deus Ultima's forces push through and the death of Sam Baharme.

Jane Baharme survived and she was chosen by the other captains to be their new leader. It was at this time that the ship built from Castle Jullicut was completed, and so she named it [[Hot Water]] after her temperamental husband. Once more, she set out with Hot Water to take on the seafaring forces of Deus Ultima, and Hot Water's superior size and firepower completely obliterated Deus Ultima's forces.

Upon Ari Clerks return, he recognized Jane Baharme as the new leader of Jullicut, and in return she agreed to ratify the [[Constitution|Vinland Constitution]].

== The State ==
As part of the deal Ari Clerks made with [[Art Penn]], the state of [[Camlann]] was created in the northwestern part of Jullicut. The Jullcutters did not protest this lost of land as the far majority of the population remained around Portsmouth. The ship Hot Water was used by Captain Jane Baharme as Jullicut's seat of power, and the massive castle turned ship is regularly seen docked alongside the Portsmouth harbor.

Captain Jane Baharme kept the emphasis of private ownership from Jullicut's colonial days. She keeps a low profile with Jullicut's governance, but just like colonial Jullicut, the power of managing the day-to-day resides with the various ship captains.

== Summary ==
The northernmost state of Valhalmont is comprised of the colonies of Valhalmont, Tyr, Longa, Ohya, and Hampshear. Its chief industries are hunting and timber, although it exports very little of its products to other states. The leader of the state of Valhalmont has the title of Chief, and it is a role that is available to whomever can best the current Chief and their supports in combat, and even known as the Royal Battle.

Valhalmont was the last state to ratifiy the [[Constitution|Vinland Constitution]] and establish [[United Vinland]]. The ratification only occurred after Valhalmont's failed invasion of [[Regenia]].

== Founding and Colonial Era ==
Valhalmont was the 12th established colony during Vinland's [[13 Colonies|Colonial Era]]. It was the tiniest colony by land size and saw very little development. Valerie Halmont, the former wife of [[Deus Ultima]] who received the colony, died within the first year of arriving in the colony due to its harsh climate. She had no demigod heirs, and the surrounding colonies of Tyr, Longa, Ohya, and Hampshear banded together to instill a Governor in order to bring structure to the chaotic land.

The installed Governor lasted barely as long as Valerie Halmont before the Valhalmonter's killed him. While the neighboring colonies worried over the barbaric nature of Valhalmont, the colony actually had a relative peace thanks to a rule and order imposed through fighting and strength. The Vallhalmonters fell in line under the rule of a Chief, a member of their own who bested all competitors in direct combat.

Upon the arrival of the demigods [[Cambria Unchained]], [[Romeo the Rational]], and [[Warden Oranje]], they allowed Valhalmont's system to continue due to the peace and stability the colony experienced combined with Cambria Unchained's own love of combat.

== The Culling ==
Valerie Halmont, the namesake of the colony, was half-Lyanan which mirrored the original settlers in the state who all had varying levels of Lyanan blood. This resulted in many of the Valhalmonters seeing the Lyanans not as a separate race, but as part of their own. This identity shaped the colony's response to Deus Ultima's commandment known as the Culling, the order that all Lyanans be killed.

Whereas most colonies tried to delay this commandment, the Valhalmonters loudly refused, and their Chief at the time, [[Harbison Killian]], threatened all of the other colonies that Valhalmont would destroy them if they went along with this commandment. The four neighboring colonies risked Valhalmont's threat and executed a handful of Lyanans as a way to appease Deus Ultima. The Valhamonters were not bluffing, and soon began their assault on the four colonies.

Their rampage across the colonies was violent and destructive as thousands perished and many more fled the fighting for the safety of the southern colonies. Cambria Unchained and the Blessed began to battle the Valhalmonters across the four colonies, but this just further led to more collateral damage and more people abandoning Tyr, Longa, Ohya, and Hampshear.

As chaos and rebellion swept the colonies, Chief Harbison's nephew, [[Chief Ajax Killian|Ajax]], participated in the Grand Colonial Council where various figureheads from the colonies met to decide the future of Vinland. It was at this meeting that Ajax relayed his uncle's decision that Valhalmont become an independent country and he stressed that the four neighboring colonies will always be a part of Valhalmont due to the rites of conquest.

As the rampage in the north continued, in the rest of the colonies, the [[War of Revolutions]] officially began.

== War of Revolutions ==
Following a series of victories in their march North, [[Lafayette Harmen]] and the Colonial Vinland Military joined forces with the Valhalmonters and they battled Cambria Unchained, the [[The Blessed|Blessed]], and other forces fighting on behalf of Deus Ultima. The Battle of Ohya was the bloodiest battle of the war with both sides seeing significant losses. Ultimately, Lafayette Harmen was able to defeat Cambria Unchained.

Lafayette offered Chief Harbison Killian and the Valhalmonters to join the Colonial Vinland Military, but was rejected. Having already rejected the offers at the Grand Colonial Council to become a single country, Chief Killian reiterated that Valhalmont has conquered Tyr, Longa, Ohya, and Hampshear, and the combined group will be its own country.

== The Regenia Invasion ==
Without the Vinland Constitution ratified, the former colonies struggled to align under a common banner. Chief Harbison Killian claimed that Valhamont's inherent strength meant that they should rule over the other former colonies, and they began their invasion of Regenia. They overtook many of the towns in Regenia's northern wine territory with very little fighting, partially due to the Regenians lack of leadership. Upon [[Governor Jeremiah Keene|Jeremiah Keene]] taking up the Regenia Governorship, he greatly expanded the defensive fortifications around Regenia's capital of Richland, and it was there they managed to repel the Valhalmonters. The Valhalmonters tried to siege the city, but Lafayette Harmen once again formed the Colonial Vinland Military and marched forth to expel Valhalmont from Regenia.

Thanks to the Colonial Vinland Military's superior firepower, coordination, and logistics, the Valhalmonters suffered devastating losses, but this still did not deter Chief Harbison Killian as he ordered suicide mission after suicide mission. Finally, Ajax Killian could no longer stand the deaths, and he challenged his uncle to combat for the leadership of Valhalmont. The battle between the Killian family was brutal, but ultimately Ajax slew his uncle and became the new leader of Valhalmont.

Ajax formally surrendered to Lafayette Harmen, and as a result ratified the Vinland Constitution, thereby formally creating United Vinland.

== The State ==
As one of the largest states by land area, much of Valhalmont remains destroyed due to the leadup and events of the War of Revolutions. Its frozen forests provide a decent amount of timber which is primarily used for buildings within Valhalmont. By order of its leader, Chief Ajax Killian, firearms are banned in the state.

The state also has a unique feature of communal wives and a strong segregation between men and women. Boys are typically brought up by their fathers while girls are typically raised within the commune of women. They continue to use the Royal Battle as a way to choose their Chief.

Jullicut is a state on the eastern seaboard of [[Vinland]], and is the primary location for all of the country's imports and exports. It also serves as the main supplier of fish and other seafood in Vinland. It has the only female leader of the ten states, [[Jane Baharme|Captain Jane Baharme]].

Whereas other colonies barred or heavily restricted ownership of land and business, Jullicut put no restrictions on its citizens. Although the colony was formally ruled by Julie Cutty's descendent, Governor Patrick Rogan, his position was more ceremonial as the various ship captains effectively controlled the state's operations.

== Rebellion and Wine Bath ==
Increased import and export duties angered Jullicut's sailors as their share of the profits were decreased. Local protests began in Portsmouth, and although they were peaceful at first, they eventually turned violent due to Romeo the Rational's refusal to relent on the duties. Under the motivation and leadership of [[Sam Baharme|Captain Sam "The Torch" Baharme]], numerous ships and cargo were burned in protest. Seeing the economic toll the protests were having, [[Ari Clerks]] gathered other colonial leaders in [[Pallolina]] to discuss independence from the rule of Deus Ultima. An event known as the [[The Grand Colonial Council|Grand Colonial Council]].

While Clerks was in Pallolina, Captain Sam Baharme held Jullicut's biggest protest which came to be known as the [[The Wine Bath|Wine Bath]]. It was there he and his followers dumped all of the barrels of wine that was set to be shipped to Antilles overboard and into the Swirling Ocean.

The Decagon: Former governor’s castle of Carolina that was converted to military HQ. The ten sided castle had been split in thirds in order to further separate the various divisions, offense, defense, and logistics, of the Vinland military

With the news that another armada of Deus Ultima's forces were on the way, Jane set out with Hot Water to fight them in the sea once more, but this time Hot Water's superior size and firepower completely obliterated Deus Ultima's invading forces.

Upon the return of the influential Jullicut businessman Ari Clerks from his imprisonment in Fyorina, he recognized Jane Baharme as the new leader of Jullicut, and in return she agreed to allow for a portion of Jullicut to become the state of Camlann and for her ratification of the [[Constitution|Vinland Constitution]].

== United Vinland ==
Through slow and steady means, Chief Ajax Killian slowly integrated Valhalmont into [[United Vinland]]. He opened up trade with the other states, although the bulk of Valhalmont's production is still contained in the state. He also banned firearms in the state as he viewed them as making the men of Valhalmont weak fighters and one of the biggest reasons why the Regenia Invasion failed. At the start of his rule, he was challenged several times to Royal Battles, but his supporters greatly outnumbered any challengers and each Royal Battle was handedly won.

He was eventually revealed to have a son, Caleb. The boy is a constant presence around his father, and although Ajax is tough on his son, he does not put him through the same hardships that Ajax experienced as a youth.

Widow of Sam Baharme. They were both captains in charge of shipping between [[Vinland]] and [[Antilles]]. Sam rebelled and caused [[The Wine Bath|the Wine Bath]]. He died in the war. Connecticut picked her to lead as a way to honor him.

Sam Baharme was known as the torch. This is because he was always looking for a fire.

Upon Deus Ultima's forces arriving of Vinland's coast, a fierce sea battle occurred which saw Deus Ultima's forces push through and the death of Sam Baharme.

== Summary ==
Jullicut is a state on the eastern seaboard of [[Vinland]], and is the primary location for all of the country's imports and exports. It also serves as the main supplier of fish and other seafood in Vinland. It has the only female leader of the ten states, [[Jane Baharme|Captain Jane Baharme]].

== Founding and Colonial Era ==

Jullicut was the [[13 Colonies|5th colony]] established in Vinland. Its name was a fusion of the former wife of [[Deus Ultima]] who was resigned to the colony, Julie Cutty. A lover of the sea, Julie Cutty built her castle on the shores of the [[Swirling Ocean]]. The city of Portsmouth was developed around the castle, and the start of the import and export trade with the [[Antilles|Antillean]] continent soon came to dominate the colony's economic activity.

An early distinguishing characteristic of Jullicut was its prevalence of private ownership. Whereas other colonies barred or heavily restricted ownership of land and business, Jullicut put no restrictions on its citizens. As a result, several large companies eventually came to dominate the economic output of Jullicut, most notably Clerks and Co. which streamlined the import/export process.

Although the colony was formally ruled by Julie Cutty's descendent, Governor Patrick Rogan, his position was more ceremonial as the various ship captains effectively controlled the state's operations.

== Rebellion and Wine Bath ==
Increased import and export duties angered Jullicut's sailors as their share of the profits were decreased. Local protests began in Portsmouth, and although they were peaceful at first, they eventually turned violent due to Romeo the Rational's refusal to relent on the duties. Under the motivation and leadership of [[Sam Baharme|Captain Sam "The Torch" Baharme]], numerous ships and cargo were burned in protest. Seeing the economic toll the protests were having, [[Ari Clerks]] gathered other colonial leaders in [[Pallolina]] to discuss independence from the rule of Deus Ultima. An event known as the [[The Grand Colonial Council|Grand Colonial Council]].

While Clerks was in Pallolina, Captain Sam Baharme held Jullicut's biggest protest which came to be known as the [[The Wine Bath|Wine Bath]]. It was there he and his followers dumped all of the barrels of wine that was set to be shipped to Antilles overboard and into the Swirling Ocean.

== War of Revolutions ==
The War of Revolutions in Jullicut was primarily fought in two places, the land and the sea. At land in Portsmouth, Sam Baharme and his followers killed anyone even remotely associated with Deus Ultima who was unwilling to switch sides. This led to them destroying Castle Jullicut, killing Governor Rogan, and a handful of [[The Blessed|Blessed]], Deus Ultima's elite forces, to change side and fight under Sam's leadership. Sam ordered for a new ship to be built from the remnents of Castle Jullicut as he, his wife Jane, and the other sea captains left for sea to enact a blockade to prevent any of Deus Ultima's forces from entering Vinland. Upon Deus Ultima's forces arriving of Vinland's coast, a fierce sea battle occurred which saw Deus Ultima's forces push through and the death of Sam Baharme.

Jane Baharme survived and she was chosen by the other captains to be their new leader. It was at this time that the ship built from Castle Jullicut was completed, and so she named it [[Hot Water]] after her temperamental husband. Once more, she set out with Hot Water to take on the seafaring forces of Deus Ultima, and Hot Water's superior size and firepower completely obliterated Deus Ultima's forces.

Upon Ari Clerks return, he recognized Jane Baharme as the new leader of Jullicut, and in return she agreed to ratify the [[Constitution|Vinland Constitution]].

== The State ==
As part of the deal Ari Clerks made with [[Art Penn]], the state of [[Camlann]] was created in the northwestern part of Jullicut. The Jullcutters did not protest this lost of land as the far majority of the population remained around Portsmouth. The ship Hot Water was used by Captain Jane Baharme as Jullicut's seat of power, and the massive castle turned ship is regularly seen docked alongside the Portsmouth harbor.

Captain Jane Baharme kept the emphasis of private ownership from Jullicut's colonial days. She keeps a low profile with Jullicut's governance, but just like colonial Jullicut, the power of managing the day-to-day resides with the various ship captains.
