Why did they rebel? Sam Baharme and the other captains were pissed about paying harbor tolls to Antilles for their ships in Portsmouth’s harbors. This stretched into them getting nickel and dimed. Sam Barhame then escalated things violently. Evidentially dies to Cambria Unchanged when he arrived on shore to quell the rebellion.
