Discovery of Vinland

After learning about it in a Prophecy(“Follow the Silver Sun in order to discover the new world”), Longinus(Deus Ultima) sent a group of followers out in the Blue Ocean. They only moved forward when the sun was in its silver state(early-late afternoon). They used the stars at night to chart their position/map their route. By pointing their boats toward the sun, they were able to navigate through the Rifts and land on Vinland. This passage became known as the God King’s passage.

Also food for thought. Should Deus Magus and his followers represent douchey Spanish empire? Have the founding of vinland be originally by a leif Erickson type, but magus could capture him, learn of the land, issue the prophecy, send his own crew out, then claim the prophecy as true and win the hearts and minds of other people on the continent?
